$4488 is the value of a 100% tuition waiver (12 credits) based on the student receiving the JMVU institutional scholarship which requires full time enrollment, 3.0 GPA, interview with Student Development Department, Personal Statement and Resume. Only first-time degree-seeking students are eligible. More information is available at the Financial Aid Office at JMVU and on the university's website http://jmvu.edu. Scholarships are limited and granted on a first come, first serve basis. Students must apply on or before May 20, 2011 for Fall 2011, and on or before October 14, 2011 for Spring 2012 to be considered for the institutional scholarship.

JMVU was approved to provide Federal Student Aid on 2010, therefore, the outputs provided in this calculator do not reflect potential aid from Title IV funds such as Pell Grant and Stafford subsidized and unsubsidized loans. Please visit the Financial Aid Office for more information. If you are Pell Grant eligible, you may be able to receive up to $5,550 per academic year. In addition, you may be able to borrow up to $3,500 in Subsidized Stafford Loans. Dependent students may also borrow up to $5,500 in Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, and independent students up to $9,500 for the academic year, starting on 2011-2012.
This tuition estimate is for 12 credits. "Other expenses" include transportation and personal expenses. Term fee of $155 per semester is not included as part of tuition and fees, but will be implemented in Fall 2012.
