TUITION, FEES AND OTHER EXPENSES

*All tuition and fees are subject to change.

Tuition and other registration fees are due on or before the last day to register for any given semester. Students should consult the Academic Calendar regarding the registration deadline.  Students will not be officially enrolled in JMVU until all fees are fully paid.  Any students owing money to JMVU, regardless of the debt, will not be permitted to register. Students will be granted a tuition deferment in anticipation of receipt of financial aid funds. Tuition and registration fees are charged in the following manner:

 

Undergraduate admissions application fee (non-refundable) $50

Graduate admissions application fee (non-refundable) $75

 

Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Program-The FCCPC complete program cost is $1060 including tuition, non-refundable undergraduate admissions application fee, books, and materials.

 

Home Health Aide -The 75-hour complete program cost is $661.00 including tuition, uniform, non-refundable undergraduate admissions application fee, books, and materials.

Medical Assistant Technician -The 38.5 Credits complete program cost is $13,483.00 including tuition, uniform, non-refundable undergraduate admissions application fee, books, and materials.

 

English as a Second Language Program-The 900-hour complete program cost is $9550 including tuition, non-refundable undergraduate admissions application fee, books and materials.

 

Undergraduate Students-Undergraduate students pay $410.00 per lower level (or general education credits) university credit hour; and $510.00 per upper level (or program requirement credits) university credit hour; and $660 per advance level university credit hour. Estimated cost for books for full-time undergraduate students is $500 per semester.

 

Graduate Students-Graduate students pay $660.00 per university credit hour. Estimated cost for books for full-time graduate students is $500 per semester.

   Additional Fees

These fees apply to all courses, for all semesters, unless specifically noted by JMVU. In addition, undergraduate students must pay each semester a semester Facility and Technology Fee of $450.00 (This fee is charged on a semester basis and it’s used by the university to maintain its facilities and be able to update the technology used, such as software and hardware in the university. This fee is also used to support library budget as well). Graduate students must pay each semester a semester Facility and Technology Fee of $530.00 (This fee is charged on a semester basis and it’s used by the university to maintain its facilities and be able to update the technology used, such as software and hardware in the university. This fee is also used to support library budget as well). Graduation fee (non-refundable) $120.00. I-20 fee (non-refundable) of $300.00 (The I-20 fee is a processing fee for new international students applying to JMVU for the first time). Transferability of credits evaluation fee (non-refundable) is $350.00. Visa Maintenance Fee (non-refundable) is $3,000 (This fee is for International students that are enrolled at the university, but are not currently attending class. Note this fee is charged by semester enrolled). I-20 transfer out administrative fee (non-refundable) is $1,000 (This fee is for International students that are transferring out of the University, this fee must be paid prior to the transfer out). Students that pay with a check, if the check is returned due to lack of funds, students will have to pay a Not Sufficient Funds fee (non-refundable) of $39 (this fee is used when students pay with a check that does not have sufficient funds). Uniform fee (non-refundable) $33 (only for health students). Students that request official transcripts must pay a $25 non-refundable fee. Translation and evaluation services fee (non-refundable) $30 (note this fee could vary depending on the diploma). Diploma Evaluation services fee (non-refundable) $30 (This fee is charged when students that have graduated abroad have already translated their diplomas and would like to evaluated, note this fee could vary depending on the diploma). Late registration fee (Non-refundable): $270 (this fee is for students that which to register one class or more than one class after the add/drop week). Reinstatement fee (non-refundable): $100.00. Computer, Software purchase plus consulting fee: $800 (This fee is for students would like to purchase a computer from the University. This purchase will include the computer, software and consulting of learning how to use the computer). Graphic Design Computer, Software purchase plus consulting fee: $2000 (This fee is for students would like to purchase a computer from the University. This purchase will include the computer, software and consulting of learning how to use the computer).
