DEAC is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

State Licensing Agency

Jose Maria Vargas University is approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). However, NC-SARA does not cover California.
