IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT BREAST CANCER, DAY OF CARING IS THE MOST EDUCATIONAL AND INSPIRATIONAL DAY OF THE YEAR!
March 16th , 2017
Dear Students, Faculty & Staff Members:
As a community-minded partner in the fight against breast cancer, we are asking you to donate a gift certificate or gift item to Day of Caring for Breast Cancer Awareness - a 501(C)(3) organization. Your donation will be used at the silent auction or as a chance drawing prize.
On Saturday May 13, 2017, the 16th Annual Day of Caring for Breast Cancer Awareness event will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Downtown Miami. We are expecting over 500 people to come together to attend this event. This will include anyone who is concerned about breast cancer… patients, survivors, families, friends and members of the breast cancer support community. Educational programs will feature local physicians, psychologists, researchers, educators, caregivers, and other prominent experts in the field, providing up to the minute information, hope, and awareness for all who attend. All of the speakers will be donating their time for the day's events. The day will culminate with a beautiful luncheon and inspirational fashion show with models who are breast cancer survivors.
Day of Caring is not a fund raising event. Our purpose is to educate and inspire. All proceeds from the chance drawing and silent auction will be used to offset the costs associated with the event.
To make this day a truly outstanding event, we hope to receive maximum community support. All donations are tax-deductible at fair market value and will be recognized in our program book.
We appreciate your support, as do all the breast cancer survivors in our community.
