Mestrado em Análise Comportamental Aplicada
A Universidade José María Vargas (JMVU) busca atender a uma população estudantil diversa com o Mestrado em Ciências (M.S.) em Análise Comportamental Aplicada (ABA), oferecido totalmente online e de forma síncrona. Este programa é destinado a pessoas que desejam se tornar Analistas do Comportamento Certificados pelo Conselho (BCBA), incluindo profissionais atuantes em áreas como educação especial, psicologia, serviço social e saúde, que buscam avançar em suas carreiras sem interromper suas rotinas. Também é voltado para recém-formados com diplomas de bacharelado em disciplinas relacionadas, estudantes internacionais que buscam uma educação de qualidade em ABA de uma instituição dos EUA e pessoas interessadas em fazer a transição para o campo da ABA. Seu formato acessível e abrangente garante que as necessidades educacionais desses diversos grupos sejam atendidas, auxiliando-os na conquista de seus objetivos profissionais e no avanço de suas carreiras como BCBAs.

Aplicação Avançada da Análise do Comportamento: Aplicar conceitos e técnicas avançadas da análise do comportamento para projetar intervenções eficazes e baseadas em evidências em diversos ambientes e populações.

Proficiência em Pesquisa e Tomada de Decisão Baseada em Dados: Desenvolver e conduzir pesquisas rigorosas utilizando design experimental e técnicas de análise de dados, aplicando os resultados para aprimorar estratégias de intervenção em contextos aplicados.

Prática Ética e Profissional: Analisar diretrizes éticas, sensibilidade cultural e normas legais na prestação de serviços analítico-comportamentais, garantindo o cumprimento dos requisitos do Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Colaboração e Supervisão: Liderar e colaborar de forma eficaz com clientes, famílias e outros profissionais da área, fornecendo supervisão e treinamento que aprimorem a implementação de práticas analítico-comportamentais.

Análise Crítica e Resolução de Problemas: Avaliar desafios comportamentais complexos com base em fundamentos teóricos e empíricos da ABA, desenvolvendo soluções que atendam às necessidades dos clientes com altos padrões de profissionalismo e ética.

Program ObjectivePROGRAM OBJECTIVE 1. Provide support and assistance in health-related tasks, self-care tasks and in instrumental activities of daily living to cover the needs of the client. 2. Describe the home health aide role in private and community settings. 3. Use oral and written communication skills and appropriate terminology when communicating with patients, family, medical personnel, and other caregivers. 4. Document patient’s record to follow up care, condition, progress, and change. This program is offered exclusively in English or in Spanish.

Admissions RequirementA copy of high school completion (High School Diploma) or its equivalent (General Education Diploma). If high school was completed in a country other than the United States, a translation and evaluation for US equivalency by a member of NACES must also be provided with the copy of high school completion. • Language Proficiency (as applicable) o Pearson Test for English Proficiency (Versant): for students enrolling in the English version of the program whose primary language is not English or who did not complete high school at an English-speaking institution. The test score must be at least 44. o Pearson Test for Spanish Proficiency (Versant): for students enrolling in the Spanish version of the program whose primary language is not Spanish or who did not complete high school at a Spanish-speaking institution. Technological requirements for Distance Education StudentsStudents must have ready access to all standards outlined. Additionally, some courses require the ability to software. It is recommended that students need to have basic technological proficiency. Assignments may include, but are not limited to, word processing, document creation, digital slide presentations, and recording video that don’t have the basic technological proficiency can benefit from the university’s download and install presentation. Students optional offered trainings in the mentioned areas. Devices A Desktop or laptop device is necessary to complete the coursework. • Desktop or laptop device must have Windows 8/10 or MacOS 10.10 or above and the capability of producing sound via speakers or headphones. • Mobile devices may be used for some, but not all, LMS functions. A mobile device cannot replace a desktop/laptop. Connectivity • High-speed Internet connection: Cable, DSL, etc. • Internet Web Browser (Firefox, Internet Edge, Safari, or Google Chrome). • Personal or university e-mail account. Recommended creation/processing software • Word Processor (MS Word, Google Docs, etc.). • PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader or Apple Preview). • Additional software may be required for certain courses.

Verification of Identity ProtectionDuring the admissions process students will be asked to provide a copy of their state or government issue ID. After students begin their program they will be required to upload a face picture to their Vargas Portal profile. Student identities will be verified and their privacy protected through the use of a student a unique username and password during the Admissions process. The Admissions and Financial Aid Offices will verify incoming student documentation. Student privacy will be protected through the https secure connection of the Vargas Portal. Students will login online and agree through a student agreement that they are the sole users of the course materials. Students will be ask to submit their assignments on the Vargas Portal.

TuitionB.A in Graphic Design Degree Program - the estimated cost for the complete degree program tuition and fees are undergraduate admissions application fee (non-refundable) $50, estimated tuition $58,800, estimated undergraduate technology and facilities fee $3,760, estimated cost for books $4,000 and the total estimated program cost is $66,610 (The total estimated program cost is based on full time enrollment and finishing the program in 8 semesters. Students enrolled in three-quarter time, part time or that repeat courses during the program will have a different total estimated program cost).
